RELATED: Diablo 4's Last Class May Be a Double-Edged Swordĭiablo 4 promises fans that Lilith will be making a return as the central threat. The final reward will be a unique Large Charm called the Hellfire Torch, an item that players continue to grind for a perfect one. Once defeated, she drops Diablo's Horn, 1 of 3 necessary ingredients to access Uber Tristram. Lilith, much like the Lesser Evil Andariel, uses poison spray attacks and inflicts heavy poison damage to players so it is recommended to have capped Poison Resistance and Antidote Potions. One of these red portals leads to the Matron's Den where players will find Lilith, also known as Uber Andariel due to the reskin of the original boss. In order for players to access the Pandemonium Event in Diablo 2, they must collect 3 keys, each opening up 1 of 3 random red portals leading to another realm. Though because the Pandemonium Event is exclusive to Diablo 2's online service, it isn't confirmed that the events during this quest are canon or not. Though she appears as a reskinned Andariel, the Act 1 boss in Diablo 2: Resurrected, there is a reason for that. This is because Andariel is referred to as the daughter of Lilith and is a succubus herself, much like how Lilith is the Queen of the Succubi. This will also include the Pandemonium Event originally introduced in patch 1.11, the quest that Lilith was introduced in. The main protagonist in Diablo 3is also later known to be a Nephalem and the only being to be able to defeat the Angel of Death Malthael.ĭiablo 2: Resurrected is the remake of Diablo 2 and will launch updated to the latest patch of 1.14, which will include many of the revisions and additions. Inarius has the Worldstone stolen, and together they create a new world free from conflict where Inarius and Lilith mate creating the first humans known as the Nephalem. Eventually, an angel named Inarius abandons the Great Conflict and gathers other angels and demons with the same goal, Lilith being one of the more notable recruitments. This Worldstone exchange hands back and forth with worlds created and destroyed due to the endless conflict. The purpose of the war was to gain control of Anu's Eye, also known as the Worldstone, a powerful object that can create worlds. This would culminate in what is known as the Great Conflict, a war that would seemingly rage on for an eternity, between the forces of Heaven and Hell. They both fought and ultimately succumbed at the same time with Anu's skeleton creating the High Heavens while Tathamet's corpse created the Burning Hells. The High Heavens and the Burning Hells give birth to Angels and to Demons respectively. Lilith is the daughter of a Prime Evil, making her quite a strong and important character in Diablo's lore, though she wasn't introduced until much later. Anu was the first being to exist, who after desiring to be perfect, cast away all of its evil creating the Prime Evil Tathamet. RELATED: Diablo 4 Adding Class-Specific Quests is a Big Deal History of Lilith Though Lilith wasn't introduced in Diablo 2 at its launch or even the launch of its expansion, she was added much later during patch 1.11 in a quest to challenge the strongest players in the game. In Diablo 4 Lilith will be the big bad that players may ultimately have to face in the end, but Lilith has also made an appearance in Diablo 2. Her role in Diablo's lore and the creation of Sanctuary is notable, given Sanctuary is the main setting for each of the Diablo games. One Diablo character that is discussed quite often is Lilith, daughter of Mephisto, and Queen of the Succubi. One major point of discussion is the lore between the reoccurring characters throughout the Diablo series and how they may impact future events. Despite the possibly long wait for Diablo 4, it still doesn't stop fans from discussing everything and anything there is about the future sequel. Diablo 2: Resurrected will release in September and Diablo: Immortal will release later in 2021, meaning Diablo fans will have their hands full in the meantime. Diablo 4 is still far away for fans of the Diablo series, but fans will be getting some Diablo content later this year.
